Goldy's Run at TCF Bank Stadium History
The first Goldy’s Run at TCF Bank Stadium was on April 9, 2011, and since then over 41,700 runners have crossed the finish line on the 50-yard line. Goldy’s Run was created with the mission of changing the lives of children that suffer from cardiovascular disease. The race takes place because of a partnership with Abbott and the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
Many of the runners share a close connection to a child whose life has been significantly impacted through Masonic Children’s Hospital and will run with a cause to support the hospital. If you are interested in running with a cause please click here for more information.
The race is produced through a partnership involving the University of Minnesota, Gopher Sports Properties and Podium Sports Marketing, Inc. Donations are made from the proceeds of the event to add to the fundraising efforts of the runners.
We want to thank you for your interest and involvement with Goldy’s Run and making a difference in the lives of Children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. We hope to see you cross the finish at the 50-yard line in the coming years.
