You are invited to participate with thousands of runners as they weave through campus and along the Mississippi River with a spectacular finish on the football field at TCF Bank Stadium where you can witness your own finish on one of the biggest screens in college football.

Everyone is welcome!  Year one was a smashing success and year two is certain to be as memorable as the first!  Three events to choose from and we are happy to announce that Goldy's Run 10 Mile is the USATF Minnesota 10 Mile Individual Championship and part of the USATF MN Individual Ultimate Runner Series.  

2012 is the first year of the USATF Minnesota Ultimate Runner Series and Individual Championships with Goldy's Run designated as the USATF Individual 10-Mile Championship.  To be eligible for this race within a race, USATF membership is required (but not to participate in any of the Goldy's Run events).   There are 5 other races in the USATF MN Ultimate Runner Series and to find out more please go to www.usatfmn.com.

Participate with runners of every ability, including running enthusiasts, alumni, students, faculty, staff, general public and Gopher fans. Training for a half marathon or marathon?  Distance runners will find the 10 Mile to be an awesome early distance run to incorporate into their training schedules. 

Gopher Sports is proud to introduce the St. Jude Medical Foundation as the presenting sponsor of the inaugural Goldy’s Run.  Gopher Sports and the St. Jude Medical Foundation have partnered on this unique event to benefit the new Amplatz Children’s Hospital on campus.  The run is expected to generate significant proceeds that will be donated back to Amplatz for the benefit of  heart research.

So join the St. Jude Medical Foundation in support of the Amplatz Children's Hospital as we all experience what is sure to be one of the best runs of 2012.
